Meet Our Team
Lyall jardine
Director/ PGA Professional
Lyall's journey with Doncaster Golf Range began just before the turn of the year 2000, with him joining the range as head professional after completing his PGA qualifications. This saw him at the forefront of the range with teaching/ fitting, whilst also being the shop manager. Fast forward to 2013, Lyall then took over DGR with the intention of creating a range which catered for all levels of golfers, both professionals and amateurs alike.
After taking more of a overseeing role and stepping back from teaching, it allowed Lyall to invest and start developing the range with the input of both TrackMan and PowerTee, elevating the practicing facilities in the region to new heights.
Over the years, Lyall and the team have strived to deliver, ensuring the standards and reputation of the range is of the highest quality and provide an experience which keeps customers returning and enjoying the hobby of golf.
Lyall has also been a proud member of Team Titleist for over 20 years with a great reputation throughout the industry.
Richard Allen
PGA Professional coach/ Head of teaching
After joining the team back in 2016 with Lyall taking a managerial position at DGR, Rich took on the role of Head of Teaching and is now an integral part of DGR.
With over 20 years experience teaching, Rich is dedicated to helping golfers of all levels improve their skills and achieve their swinging goals.
Rich has extensive knowledge of the game and uses the latest teaching techniques and technology to ensure that each golfer gets the most out of their time with him.
He offers both single lessons but also multiple deals on lessons to keep you dialled in between rounds.
John bragger
Head of Custom Fitting
After cutting his teeth as a professional golfer on what was the Mastercard Tour in 1997, John Bragger has worked in the industry for many years with some of the leading manufacturers in golf, more notably Ping from 2002 covering their fittings throughout the UK.
This then developed into a territory role from 2004, expanding over the north of England and Scotland where he met and dealt with a variety of clubs and professionals, forging relationships throughout the industry which still stands strong today.
Fast forward to 2017, John joined the team at DGR as Head of Custom Fitting, utilising the purpose-built simulator as well as the recently added putting green facility to ensure each club in the bag is fitted with precision to customers. John's skills are known nationwide, with clients travelling from all over the UK to ensure they get the very best service.
John is also backed by one of the biggest brands in golf, Callaway; a relationship which has stood for over 20+ years since his professional playing days.
KIERAN LARDER
Shop Manager/ Social media assistant
Kieran has been an integral part of the team since joining in 2017, helping the development and running of the impressive Pro Shop and ensuring customers find what they're looking for.
In recent times, he's also taken on more involvement in our ever-growing media presence, assisting in content and ensuring media communications are expressed to current and also new customers.
With a friendly face and great attitude, Kieran is someone who helps DGR achieve a great service throughout anyones experience when visiting the range.
Andrew cooke
Trainee PGA Professional/ shop assistant
Andrew's journey with DGR started back in 2020, helping with the running of the shop floor alongside Kieran whilst overseeing the operations in the range bays too.
More recently he's started his PGA coaching qualifications to back up his impressive golfing abilities, hoping to transfer these into a teaching role further down the line.
Arguably one of the most talented golfers in the team, you'll frequently catch him practicing and hitting a few on the range before his shifts!
